Today is our 6th anniversary!

Sometimes it seems like we have been married much longer because we know each other so well, and other times it seems like we’ve been married only a few months as I discover more things I love about you.

Thank you for being a Godly wife.

Thank you for your never-ending support.

Thank you for our wonderful children…good thing they look like you.

Thank you for putting up with me shooting someone else’s wedding on our anniversary.

I love you. I pray we have at least 60 anniversaries to celebrate in our years ahead.

Loyal blog followers will remember Betty-Ashton’s bridal session a few weeks ago, and on the 11th I had the privilege of photographing her and Aaron’s wedding!

The ceremony was held in Roanoke, and the reception was at her parents home on Smith Mountain Lake. We had great weather all day, and loads of great images.

The day after Dave & Molly’s wedding, I headed up to the Homestead to photograph Joey & Hilary’s wedding!

They had an outdoor wedding in such a beautiful part of Virginia that it’s hard to convey through images, but I’ll try! Thank you for letting me be a part of your celebration!

Dave & Molly were married about two weeks ago, and I had the priveledge of photographing their wedding! They are a great couple, and I enjoyed celebrating with them.

Finally…my funky kids are married!

Bobby and Carin are such an awesome couple and we have had a blast getting to know each other through e-mails, phone calls, and Buffalo Wild Wings!

I photographed their engagement session last fall, and photographed Carin’s bridal session back in April.

So on June 23rd, they planned an amazing wedding with an absolute ton of time for images! Bobby and Carin chose to see each other before the ceremony (about 70% of my clients do this), and then the entire bridal party had fun in downtown Blacksburg and the Virginia Tech campus.

After the ceremony, Bobby & Carin (and me) went to different places around the Tech campus and got a ton of incredible images!
