An Inconvenient Truth
Yesterday I watched a very shocking movie. I’m not normally into horror films, but this one captivated me.
I watched An Inconvenient Truth.
It is sad to see what we have done to our world. The statistics and proof that Mr. Gore presents are incredible. It is a real issue, and one that should receive a lot more attention and action.
Our family started using energy efficient light bulbs and recycling about a year ago. They are small things that make a big difference. We should take care of the planet God gaves us because it is right, and…it’s the only home we have!
If the actual act of helping the planet isn’t strong enough to motivate you, think about it from a financial standpoint.
We used to average about 6-7 trash bags a week. Now, we have no more than 2 - the rest is recycled. That means we buy trash bags less often. The energy efficient light bulbs are a little more expensive when you first purchase them, but they last a very long time (some up to 5 years)!
You can find out more about An Inconvenient Truth, and what you CAN do to prevent global warming at Climate Crisis.
If you are interested in buying this movie (well worth it), you can get it used at Amazon for about $10.
Best Wishes,
Michael
