I have been asked by several couples about getting custom thank you cards made from their wedding. I am very happy to announce that they are now available!

The cards are 4×5.5″ printed on Linen Art Paper, and every card comes with its own mailing envelope. Included is your choice of three images for the card (one image each for the front, inside-right, and back) and all text is completely customizable.

Below is a sample of a recent design! Imagine you’re holding the card in front of you:

I am pleased to announce that clients can now order large prints directly through my online gallery!

Previously I had only allowed prints up to 11×14″ to be ordered online, but with the incredible quality that my lab has been consistently delivering I am happy to say I’ve made two new print sizes available for online ordering - 16×20″ and 20×24″!

Of course larger sizes can still be ordered, but I will continue to handle those custom orders personally.

I was recently asked if I would speak to a group of photographers and share about my philosophy and approach to weddings and photography. My answer? YES!

Thursday night I had the great opportunity to speak at the Virginia Professional Photographers Association meeting held at photographer Debrah Wood’s studio.

There was a packed house and so for an hour and a half I shared my love of photography and how and why I do what I do. Already this morning I have received several e-mails from photographer’s in attendance with such kind words about the seminar, and asking for more information!

One of my favourite places that I have shot this year is Sundara. It’s such a peaceful setting there at the base of the Cahas Mountain and Patty is great to work with!

They have chosen one of my images for a magazine ad that they are running. I actually ended up designing the entire ad for them! It’s a modern ad that depicts Sundara not only as a great place for a wedding, but really any corporate party or other event.

The Wildflour Cafe at Towers Shopping Mall is hosting several of my images for the next few months!

There are a few engagement images and also some wedding prints. The large 20×30″ images really compliment the decor at the Cafe as well.

In addition to being an excellent caterer for weddings and other events, Wildflour at Towers regular menu is wonderful as well.

I definitely recommend trying them out for lunch or dinner sometime and check out the images while you are there!
