I recently had a session with Marino & Wendy. Even though their wedding is not until mid next spring they wanted to have some of Virginia’s beautiful fall colors in their images.

You guys are so sweet - I’m looking forward to your wedding!

I photographed engagement sessions for four AWESOME couples this week - all of whom I have the privilege of being part of their wedding later this year and next year.

We were blessed with beautiful light for all of them and I had a blast working with each one. Being full time ROCKS!

Have I mentioned that I love what I do? My Dad recently quoted a saying to me that said, “If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life”.

I guess that means I don’t plan on “working” very much!

I photographed Keith & Lauren’s engagement session last Saturday! Despite a little bit of a colder morning, we had fun starting at Elmwood Park and then took a short walk over to De Espresso Cafe.

I am looking forward to your wedding in December - you guys are great together!

Lauren - you were a great sport - don’t “shoot” me!

As of this moment I am now officially a full time photographer!

Working a regular job and being a photographer has not allowed me to put as much time as I would like into my clients and vendors. This has been a long time coming and I am so happy to now be able to devote 110% into my business.

As always, a special thanks goes to my wife Leah for her wonderful support and encouragement throughout this entire decision making process.

Omar and Irene had their Friday night ceremony at the Patrick Henry Hotel as you may have read in an earlier post. On Saturday I photographed their Ukrainian ceremony at the stunning St. Andrews. This was a wonderful and unique look into another culture and I was privileged to witness it.

After an awesome ride over to the Virginia Western Arboretum for some fun group images we headed to a beautiful reception held at the Hotel Roanoke.

You guys had so much fun and it was such a pleasure to work with you both!
