I will be unavailable from Saturday, July 1st through Tuesday, July 4th as I shoot a wedding, a private event, and take a little time off with my family. I will return to the office on Wednesday, July 5th and will answer e-mails and voice mail at that time.

Remember to say a prayer for the brave men and women of our military as they protect our freedom and our reason for having this special day. I hope each and every one of you have a very safe and wonderful Independence Day.

I photographed Jason & Missy’s wedding at the Wyndham hotel almost two weeks ago. They are a wonderful couple who were getting married the same day as their Great Uncle and Aunt’s 50th Wedding Anniversary! They even took time during their celebration to honor them by giving them a gift, and playing their first dance for them.

The carriage was a special gift from her parents - a total surprise for Missy! I really had a wonderful time with you both and your families!

I am a part of a wonderful organization called the Wedding Photojournalist Association. Aside from embracing what I believe is a better method of covering weddings - one that is documentary - they also promote good business ethics and the highest quality.

David Roberts is the founder of WPJA and has released an online magazine for both photographers and brides. It is a wonderful source of information for anything from photography trends to photo tips and more. I highly recommend that you look at Wedpix!

Tis the season for bridal sessions! I love them, and had fun with Ashleigh just over a week ago. It’s always so cool taking my brides to different locations and creating beautiful images of them!

I had a blast shooting Elizabeth’s bridal session last week. We had so much fun going to different locations and letting her be a model for a day. Her mom was kind enough to come with us and even held a reflector for me at one point!

There is a nice mixture of fashion and artistic portraiture here, and that is what I always strive to deliver to my clients. I have to say that bridal sessions are so cool! Just like engagements, they give my clients and I an opportunity to get to know each other better and work together a little bit before their wedding. Of course, they also get some amazing images in the process too!
