We’ll it’s a happy week for us! Lighting struck our property twice, once splitting a tree and putting in down about two feet from our car, and the second time it fried a circuit in our house. Then lightning hit our next door neighbors huge tree and put it down across both of our yards, crushing about twenty feet of fence. The good news is, no one was hurt and there was no damage to either the car or house, so we have much to be thankful for.
So, we’ve been looking and praying for a van for quite a while. Anyone with two kids will tell you that putting them in and out of a small car can be a big pain. We found a great van at Autoway on Peters Creek Road in Roanoke.
Out of all of the dealers we have visited and driven vans at over the past two months, Leah and I think Autoway was by far the best, and fairest dealership. Everyone was polite and helpful, espeically our sales rep, Tim Wingo. He was never pushy or demanding, and above all, he followed through on his word to do a few things for us without me having to remind him (a HUGE plus since no one else has ever followed through). I would definitely recommend both Tim and Autoway if you are looking for a vehicle!
All though we were not in a position to keep both the car and get the van, we’re definitely happy with the van. We actually have room to get the kids in, keep the stroller in the back, and space leftover! Here’s to vans!
