Barak and Ashleigh were my notoriously unlucky couple when it came to scheduling their engagement session, but fortunately we finally got it in!

I shot their wedding on the 12th at Christ Lutheran Church and the reception following at the Corinthian Ballroom. I’ve been over there quite a bit this year!

In any case, it was a great wedding and lots of fun celebrating with them. Congratulations!

I shot Brian & Tracy’s engagement session about a month ago, and last week had a blast hanging out with Tracy roaming through downtown Roanoke shooting her bridal session. We had such a beautiful evening, and Tracy was awesome as she did anything to get the shot (thus the reason she is in handcuffs!).

Okay not really. We were shooting over by a warehouse downtown and a Roanoke City Police Officer was there getting ready to go home. Tracy’s and her Mom started thinking it would be cool if we could pretend that the Officer was arresting her. He was very accomodating and we all got a laugh out of it. A very special thanks to Officer Booth for doing that for us even though he was off work and ready to go home.

So here it is…enjoy the session!

During the past few days my in-laws have been visiting us from Wyoming so we took some time to show them around the area. It was great to take a little time off with family and have a little fun!

Among going to the Peaks of Otter Winery, VMI, and other areas, we all went to the Natural Bridge Zoo. The kids LOVED seeing all the animals, and I even took a picture of a particularly interesting one with Leah’s little point n’shoot camera!

Okay okay, so he really doesn’t bite…but I thought the sign was funny with him in it, especially since we are at the tiger area and that’s the shirt he is wearing too!

Anyway, I’m getting back in the swing of things and will be posting other stories and images too including another wedding, and the story behing my “Bridal Surprise” post!

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be in and out of the office from today through Tuesday afternoon. I will be checking e-mails and voicemails infrequently, and will return most all communication when I am back on Tuesday afternoon.
