A Sad Day for Virginia - Part Two

Filed under: Misc — Mike at 9:00 am on Thursday, August 17, 2006

Some of you may remember my post almost a month ago about Abraham Cherrix, a Virginia teen who was fighting for his rights to alternative medical care.

I am excited to report that while they lost their initial trials, they did win their hearing yesterday with a Circuit Judge presiding in Accomac, Virginia! You can read the story here as reported by CNN.

Jeff & Teal

I shot Jeff & Teal’s intimate wedding last Friday at their home in Roanoke! After the ceremony we headed out to a couple different places around town just having fun shooting them for about thirty minutes.

I enjoyed our time and being a part of your special day. Best wishes to you both!

Rick & Quyen

I photographed Rick & Quyen’s Vietnamese engagement back in December and just photographed their wedding on July 22nd at the Corinthian Ballroom!

It was a lot of fun, and an interesting look into several wedding traditions from Quyen’s side of the family as well. I had a lot of fun and got to work with one of my absolute favorite DJ’s in the area - Kerri Taylor.

Thank you for the opportunity to work with you. I wish you the best!

Barak & Ashleigh

I photographed Ashleigh’s bridal session almost two months ago and I just photographed her and Barak’s engagement session last Wednesday.

I felt so bad for them as we had tried four times to schedule their engagement session, but every time it was cancelled by strong thunderstorms. So, the fifth time was the charm!

I’m looking to photographing your wedding next week!

Wildflour Cafe Gallery

The Wildflour Cafe at Towers Shopping Mall is hosting several of my images for the next few months!

There are a few engagement images and also some wedding prints. The large 20×30″ images really compliment the decor at the Cafe as well.

In addition to being an excellent caterer for weddings and other events, Wildflour at Towers regular menu is wonderful as well.

I definitely recommend trying them out for lunch or dinner sometime and check out the images while you are there!

My Best Wishes Always,
Michael
