Life without limits

Congratulations Dan & Kelsey!

I shot Dan & Kelsey’s wedding on the 21st and had a great time with everyone! Their ceremony was at Kelsey’s parents home on Smith Mountain Lake, and the reception followed at Mariner’s Landing. Greg from Memories coordinated the event and did a great job as always.

So, on to the images now! Congratulations to you both, and thank you for inviting me to be a part of your day!

Fall in Virginia

On the way to Dan & Kelsey’s wedding last week I stopped for just a moment to view the stunning colors of fall.

A solitary road, and a beautiful canvas for God’s handiwork.

Images from Dan & Kelsey’s wedding will be up early next week. Have a wonderful weekend!

Best Wishes,
Michael

Eric & Natalie get married!

Filed under: Weddings — Mike at 6:32 pm on Wednesday, October 25, 2006

Now this was a really fun wedding! Eric and Natalie were married on the 14th at Mariner’s Landing and I had a blast celebrating with them.

The wedding party was cool, and up for anything, so I definitely took advantage of that. Congratulations to you both, and thanks so much for inviting me!

I keep thinking “Mr Anderson….” whenever I see this image (watch the Matrix if you’re not sure what that means)

Natalie gets the coolest veil & veil shot award!

I love this! Just this little glimpse tells the story

Okay, just so you know, they said it was okay to put the following on here! A few months ago Eric was giving Natalie a piggy back ride when he tripped and landed face first, busting out several teeth! Knowing this going into the wedding, we just had to get this image as a reminder for them!

The DJ (Ken Frith, who was awesome by the way) had all married couples come on the dance floor. He then had couples leave the floor when he called the years they had been married…so 24 hrs, 1 year, 5 years, 10 years, etc. This image is who is still remaining at 30 YEARS! That is so awesome. Congratulations to every couple in this image dancing.

Custom Thank You Cards Now Available

Filed under: News — Mike at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, October 24, 2006

I have been asked by several couples about getting custom thank you cards made from their wedding. I am very happy to announce that they are now available!

The cards are 4×5.5″ printed on Linen Art Paper, and every card comes with its own mailing envelope. Included is your choice of three images for the card (one image each for the front, inside-right, and back) and all text is completely customizable.

Below is a sample of a recent design! Imagine you’re holding the card in front of you:

Image 1 - Front

Image 2 - Inside left, intentionally blank for writing your personal message

Image 3 - Inside right, your customizable printed text

Image 4 - Back

Let me know if you are interested and I will be happy to give you more information!

My Best Wishes,
Michael

Alicia’s Bridal

Filed under: Bridals — Mike at 11:15 am on Wednesday, October 18, 2006

Remember when I said I would be more specific with my next prayer (see Ryan & Sara’s post)?

The weather forecast for Alicia’s bridal last week was not good - over 60% chance of rain and mainly nasty. Unfortunately, this was the only day that we could schedule her session on as her job keeps her incredibly busy.

So I prayed.

I prayed Tuesday night and Wednesday morning that God would hold off the rain until at least 6:30…long enough for us to do some on location, outdoor images, and then take it somewhere inside if we needed too. I’m here to tell you…PRAYER WORKS!

It never rained so much as a drop on us the whole evening and we had an incredible session.

Here are her awesome images…
