My last wedding was a great way to finish an incredible year! Andrew and Christina were married on November 4th at College Lutheran in Salem, and had their reception at the beautiful Roanoke College.

Because it was my last wedding of the year…get ready for a bunch of images to close out the season!

I turned around after Andrew and Christina walked down the aisle and saw them celebrating

I shot Trevor & Alicia’s engagement session and Alicia’s bridal session several weeks ago and just had the opportunity to photograph their wedding on October 28th!

Because of our trip out west, I am incredibly behind in blogging but they have been so patient with me. So first off, thanks for waiting! They had a beautiful ceremony at Westminster Presbyterian and an incredible reception at the Jefferson Center.

So without any further delays…here’s a very small glimpse of their celebration…

They have such awesome smiles…especially when laughing!

How’s that for a chocolate cake?! You can almost taste it.

I really love this image. The baby her father held in his hands only years ago is now the woman he gave away.

There are very few things in this world that are as powerful as a parent’s love for their child.

I just noticed that I had an image place in the Wedding Photojournalist Association Fall Competition! WPJA is such a great organization, and I am thrilled one of my images made it in!

I have cool clients. No wait…I have the coolest clients!

After getting back from a great business trip to Nevada/California I had a gift waiting for me from Bobby and Carin whose engagement session I just shot.

In it was a bottle of Mango Habanero sauce from BW’s and a great thank you note! Seriously…I love my job.
