Life without limits

Network

I can’t even begin to tell you how important it is to network with other professionals. Having a great network can help to make or break your business. Together, you can collectively raise the bar for your area.

Recently, a few of us photographers got together at Shakers for a little lunch and hang out time. In my opinion, those of us who got together are the region’s best!

We had Justin & Marie (D’Artisti), Kevin Hurley, Debra Woods (Inspiration and Design), David Lee Michaels, and yours truly.

When you have a great network that you can trust and rely on, it makes enjoying what you do that much sweeter. We had an awesome time!

An Inconvenient Truth

Filed under: Misc — Mike at 11:15 am on Friday, April 27, 2007

Yesterday I watched a very shocking movie. I’m not normally into horror films, but this one captivated me.

I watched An Inconvenient Truth.

It is sad to see what we have done to our world. The statistics and proof that Mr. Gore presents are incredible. It is a real issue, and one that should receive a lot more attention and action.

Our family started using energy efficient light bulbs and recycling about a year ago. They are small things that make a big difference. We should take care of the planet God gaves us because it is right, and…it’s the only home we have!

If the actual act of helping the planet isn’t strong enough to motivate you, think about it from a financial standpoint.

We used to average about 6-7 trash bags a week. Now, we have no more than 2 - the rest is recycled. That means we buy trash bags less often. The energy efficient light bulbs are a little more expensive when you first purchase them, but they last a very long time (some up to 5 years)!

You can find out more about An Inconvenient Truth, and what you CAN do to prevent global warming at Climate Crisis.

If you are interested in buying this movie (well worth it), you can get it used at Amazon for about $10.

Best Wishes,
Michael

Sundara has a new website!

The fabulous Ben from Real Alibi designed their new site and it looks incredible.

I love shooting at Sundara as it is the perfect outdoor venue for any wedding, and Patty’s hospitality makes it feel like home.

Many of my images are featured all throughout the site - it truly is a beautiful place!

Check out Sundara’s new website when you get a chance, and give Patty a call for your next event!

Best Wishes,
Michael

I enjoyed shooting Emily’s bridal session a little over a week ago.

I’m kind of a veil freak anyway, but I absolutely loved hers! Enjoy the images…
