Hi everyone,

Just a quick note to let you know that I will be unavailable from July 15-22. During this time the office will be closed as I will not have e-mail or voice mail access.

I told a friend I was working last Saturday morning. HA!

In reality, the morning started with a nice drive out to Smith Mountain Lake while listening to Beautiful & From the Sky.

Once I met up with Brad and Alison, Bonnie (her mom) served me breakfast pizza (which was incredible!) and orange juice for breakfast while we all hung out and talked for a while! You see, the relationship with Alison and her family goes all the way back to Dan & Kelsey - that is Alison’s sister!

Now I have been given the opportunity to photograph Brad & Alison’s wedding next March! We had a great time at their engagement session, going from the house, to boating on the lake and heading over to Bridgewater Plaza.

So, enough chatter…..on to the fun!

They just look so good together!

I had the pleasure of shooting Betty-Ashton’s bridal session a week ago today!

We had a lot of fun, and a family member brought out a cool vintage car for us to play with!

Finally…my funky kids are married!

Bobby and Carin are such an awesome couple and we have had a blast getting to know each other through e-mails, phone calls, and Buffalo Wild Wings!

I photographed their engagement session last fall, and photographed Carin’s bridal session back in April.

So on June 23rd, they planned an amazing wedding with an absolute ton of time for images! Bobby and Carin chose to see each other before the ceremony (about 70% of my clients do this), and then the entire bridal party had fun in downtown Blacksburg and the Virginia Tech campus.

After the ceremony, Bobby & Carin (and me) went to different places around the Tech campus and got a ton of incredible images!
