Hello Everyone,

It is a fabulous blue-sky day outside and I am thrilled to be alive! No, I didn’t have any near death experiences or close calls (that I know of), I’m just happy to be enjoying spring! Summer is on the way and I’m loving the longer daylight hours already.

For a while I have had a project in my mind that I wanted to photograph. I love the 1940′s and 1950′s era, and really wanted to capture a session that paid tribute to that period. Well, a couple of weeks ago, the genius known as Michael Imus arranged for my project to come to life. Almost everything you see in this session is 100% genuine – the gloves, the hats, the coats, the luggage…it’s all the real deal! Only one pair of shoes isn’t truly from that era, but you’d be hard pressed to know the difference.

Thank you to our models who were the perfect fit for this role, and an absolute huge thanks goes out to Michael and Dominoe for putting together all of the little details which made this session a success. It’s all that I had hoped for and more! Now turn up that big band music and enjoy the images!

I love how even the luggage is from the 40′s!

And yes…the coat is real too
